Good vibes at the bar & restaurant!
We spent 6 nights in an Executive Family Room. The restaurant and bar area were awesome, really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. Only thing was the sound insulation. you could hear everything from the neighboring room, which was a bit annoying during the night.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, setting up a lovely table for us in the lounge since we couldn't bring our dog into the restaurant. the shower met my high standards, providing a refreshing experience every morning.

The Headland offered a fantastic escape with beautiful views that took my breath away. My room had a lovely sea view, perfect for morning coffee. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. I especially enjoyed the delicious food, each meal was better than the last. I appreciated the overall cleanliness throughout the hotel. The entertainment at night added a nice touch to the stay, although it could have been a bit more engaging. A downside was the dated decor in some areas, and the bathroom could use an upgrade. I faced some noise disturbances from a neighboring room, which interrupted my sleep on one night. Still, the location was superb and I found some great walking paths around the area. A little more attention to the room features would really enhance the experience. I had a great time, and I may consider returning.

Perfect for families seeking fun
We had an incredible time at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, offering personalized service that reminded me of the good old days. The hydro pools were a game changer for the kids, letting them splash around while I enjoyed some downtime.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was worth every penny.

the room was kinda tiny and it got a bit draughty at nite. plus, the shower temp kept changin a lot, so that was annoying.

The location boasts stunning coastal views that grab your attention, perfect for a peaceful escape. Hydro spa facilities offer a great way to unwind, though they come with an extra charge.
Rooms feel dated, stuck in a sort of 80s time warp, with inadequate lighting and creaky floorboards that remind you of an old ship. The shower head leaves much to be desired, and if you're not careful, you'll be wrestling with that low soap dispenser. Plan on using the radiator, because air conditioning is a no-go and it only seems to kick in at certain hours. if you want to use the hydro pool more than once, be ready to shell out another tenner, which feels a bit cheeky when you've already spent a good amount on your stay. Lastly, the inadequately vented old bathroom could use some serious attention.

The stay was quite pleasant overall. The location offered stunning views of the sea, especially from the terrace, which was an amazing spot for breakfast. The staff were thoughtful, ensuring we had what we needed during our visit. A slight downside was the parking situation, which could be a little tricky at times, but it didn't overshadow the great experience we had.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We explored the coastal footpath, visiting Meadfoot Beach and the Town Centre. The food was top-notch, offering plenty of options for everyone. Just a heads-up, the spa has a £10 fee which caught us off guard, but otherwise, everything was great.
The only downside was the £10 charge for the spa. We assumed it was included with our stay, but it turned out to be for just a couple of hydro pools that didn’t work properly.

The decor throughout The Headland Hotel & Spa is charming and vintage, with stunning views of the coastline that can be enjoyed from many common areas. The staff were especially thoughtful, ensuring easy access for seniors like myself.
Hot water control could be better.
