The headland offers an excellent location with fine views of the marina, especially on sunny days. The spa hydro pools were fantastic, providing privacy and relaxation. And the new reception area looked lovely.

Fairly clean hotel with polite and exceptional staff at all times. Brilliant location on Headland over looking Torquay bay, and 10 minute walk from Princess Theatre. Just next door to the sea, the bar/ restaurant, and Daddyhole.

Beautiful and absolutely fantastic hotel in a historic historic style building. Reasonably large room, a shower, hairdryers and bath sheets in the room. Stunningly beautiful view of the sea. Stunning, marvellous location on Headland over looking Torquay bay. About 15 minutes walk from Torquay's Dinosaur World...

Good vibes at the bar & restaurant!
We spent 6 nights in an Executive Family Room. The restaurant and bar area were awesome, really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were super friendly. Only thing was the sound insulation. You could hear everything from the neighboring room, a bit annoying during the night.

great stay but limited dining options for pets
The staff were friendly and accommodating, setting up a lovely table for us in the lounge since we couldn't bring our dog into the restaurant. The shower met my high standards.

The Headland offered a fantastic escape with beautiful views that took my breath away. My room had a lovely sea view, perfect for morning coffee. The staff were attentive. I especially enjoyed the delicious food, each meal was better than the last. I appreciated the overall cleanliness throughout the hotel. The entertainment at night added a nice touch to the stay, although it could have been a bit more engaging. A downside was the dated decor in some areas, and the bathroom could use an upgrade. I faced some noise disturbances from a neighboring room, which interrupted my sleep on one night. Still, the location was superb and I found some great walking paths around the area. A little more attention to the room features would really enhance the experience. I had a great time, and I may consider returning.
